The first time I played TopBike Racing, I crashed into the ocean within 30 seconds. I kept hammering the acceleration button, thinking speed was everything, but what happened? My bike went to a narrow bridge and down straight. That was when I learned that this game was about balancing the art of pacing with the art of control and not about pure speed.
As soon as I learned these principles I started playing smarter. I learnt to relax the throttle before the turns, to lean properly to get my position right in the air, and I learned that not crashing is more important than chasing lap records.
Every mode in TopBike Racing teaches me one thing:
Beach Mode is the first lesson where I can try out without worry. Hovering wooden platforms with turquoise ocean waves below. At least if I fall, there's water to cushion my 'failures'.
Stunts Mode is where things get genuinely tough. Massive loop-de-loops, fragile bridges, and dark abysses. Here, one small lean mistake can send me plummeting. Every lean, every takeoff must be calculated carefully.
City Mode brings a different kind of pressure. I’ve got to keep up and stay out of traffic.” It’s like playing a racing game and an obstacle avoidance game at the same time.
| Scoring Factor | What I have to do |
|---|---|
| Speed of completion | Go as fast as you can |
| Distance traveled | Go through as many hurdles as possible |
| Stunts performed | Flips, loops, and other stunts |
| 360 flip extra | Each flip will get you 100 bonus points |
| Difficulty Level | Finish the track |
|---|---|
| Simple, just don't trip | Complete + speed requirements met |
| Needs precision average | Full + Speed + Stunts |
| Hard, takes real practice | Full + Speed + Stunts |
I learned that the way to get three stars is to perform all three things all at once. This converts each level from a one-time test into a long-term struggle. I constantly going back to stages, attempting to polish my technique.
I get ahead, I make money to update my bike. There are five areas of focus:
Important for longer courses
Because you can never have enough speed increases at the right time
very important before sharp corners
The difference between life and falling off a tiny bridge
Prevents slide on rough areas
I know better than to upgrade everything at once. Instead, I concentrate on what the present track needs most.
Apart from the performance increases, the game allows me to gather different bike frames and distinctive rider costumes as well. The 3D showroom shows me what I appear like on my bike in front of a nice island background. It’s a simple thing but it adds a special touch to the experience.
Not necessarily. I can try all levels right now, but they're harder without upgrades.
The only method is understanding lean mechanics and calculating the correct trajectory.
Playing seriously, about 20 to 30 hours to complete everything. But truly mastering it takes much longer.
Beach Mode is the ideal starting point. I strongly recommend not skipping it.
Not all racing games respect physics. TopBike Racing does. It makes me feel like I'm actually balancing on a bike across death-defying bridges. Every lean, every victory, every flip is the result of my skill and calculation. That's why I keep coming back.
If TopBike Racing thrills you with its physics-based challenges, you should also try Extreme Trucks. It’s similar, except you’re driving giant machines over treacherous terrain. Balance and vehicle control mechanics are similar but the difficulty reaches a whole new level.
