Deadly Rally offers players to three very diverse racing landscapes, each with its unique challenges:
- Forest: You have to concentrate 100% to drive the narrow twisting lanes through the forests. Overcorrecting or braking too late might lead to hitting trees, or off the course. It’s a great place to practise your steering abilities and your ability to coordinate accelerating and braking.
- Desert: The road surface is very sandy and gravelly and has very low traction. The curves are harder than ever so you will need to learn how to manage the car’s tailslide and utilise the handbrake to make beautiful drifts. In planning controls care must be taken not to lose control.
- Snowy Mountains: A problem for impatient riders with this treacherous terrain. If you accelerate suddenly, the wheels will spin in place, and if you brake suddenly, the automobile can easily go off the road. You need a 4-wheel drive automobile, with good throttle control to handle the snow covered course.
Authentic Car Physics
There's no single recipe for every Deadly Rally course. Car weight, traction and inertia have a big effect on performance. A rear-wheel drive (RWD) car will offer you a dynamic feel on the pavement, but on desert sand, it can quickly spin out. On the other hand, AWD vehicles are a safer and more gripping option on snowy and muddy terrain.
Turbo System
Turbo: Turbo can be activated anytime you want a burst of speed on a straight. The trick is to use it carefully, though. A good player will use Turbo on long, straight lengths of road, not on dangerous, unpredictable turns.
