Rocketcar Cup is a 2D arcade soccer game with driving and combat features. The players are rocket-powered automobiles on the pitch. Instead of using your feet to chase a ball, you need to control your automobile to smash into the ball and use the force of a hit to send the ball toward the opponent’s goal and try to score more goals before the contest ends.
Rocketcar Cup turns a normal game of football into a duel of vehicles that can accelerate fast, collide head-on and fly throughout the air. The game is easy to comprehend yet it takes very exact judgement to manage the automobile correctly and send the ball in the right path.
The basic goal is still the same, scoring goals against the opposition. But the process is absolutely different.
You don’t really have control of the football player. Instead, your car becomes your weapon of assault. The automobile may adjust the direction and speed of the ball with each impact. So the position of the car before impact is critical to the outcome of the shot.
If you hit the ball head on the ball will move forward. If you hit the ball from the side it will change direction at a different angle. After some time, you will learn to see the playing field as a mini-chessboard where each position can generate a scoring opportunity.
Rocketcar Cup allows 1v1 and team plays. In terms of game play, these two formats are very different.
In 1v1, every decision matters as you essentially have to manage both offence and defence on your own. If the run is too deep, the goal will be totally exposed behind.
In team games positional awareness is considerably more critical. One player can be actively pressuring the ball and the other can be at a position near the goal. With a bunch of cars near the ball, the ability to judge the situation and avoid reckless charges will go a long way toward determining the outcome of the play.
Shift triggers Boost, which gives the car a huge burst of speed for a short period.
Boost enables you to do a lot of things:
One common mistake is to open the Boost as soon as possible. This leads fast to a loss of advantage if the ball changes direction or if the opponent dodges it.
A good player usually reserves Boost for when it really counts. In particular, when two automobiles are charging for the same ball, the player who knows how to manage his pace generally has the upper hand over the one who just floors it.
Q > Hard Hit skill for stronger shots.
This is a handy weapon to have whether you want to send the ball a long far or initiate a rapid attack. But Hard Hit is not a tool to be utilised in a mechanical way.
If the ball is in a good position to score, a powerful shot could push the ball too far away from the danger zone. On the other side, Hard Hit can be a very successful way to clear the ball out of the area in front of the goal in a clearance situation.
Rocketcar Cup has three modes of play: Practice, Arcade and Career.
The game offers both 1v1 and team encounters, with players able to fight against one another or work together as a team.
You can control the car with WASD or the Arrow Keys.
Hold Shift to Boost and speed up the automobile.
Press Q to perform a Hard Hit, making the automobile hit the ball with extra power.
Yeah. Players can jump, flip and fly thru the air to reach balls that are out of conventional ground handling range.
No, speed is only part of the game. The efficiency of any manoeuvre is in the selection of the appropriate position, approach angle and timing of Boost and Hard Hit.
The most essential strategy of the Rocketcar Cup is to be the first to reach the finish line.
First, position. Don't merely chase after the ball. “Before you kick, always think about where the ball is going to go when it hits the goalposts.
Rocketcar Cup is a good choice for some fast-paced car football action, and Adventure Drivers offers some more tough courses.
