Bat Smash 2 is one of those mobile games I can play all day without getting bored. It's not complicated, but there's something about it that keeps you coming back.
Basically, you hit a cricket ball. There's a power meter running, and you tap when the arrow hits green. If you time it right, the ball flies far. If you miss, it doesn't go anywhere. That's the whole gameplay loop. The ball travels a distance, you earn coins. Spend those coins on upgrades and hit again with more power.
I like how they designed it. No gimmicks, just hitting a ball and watching the numbers grow. Want to hit 100 meters? Upgrade. Want 500 meters? Upgrade again.
The core mechanic is easy to understand, but timing makes each hit more satisfying. The better you time your tap, the more distance you can get from every swing.
Four main upgrade types:
The way I play is by not focusing on just one thing. You have to see how combining them works better. High strength but slow ball speed won't get you far. But if strength is decent, speed is high, and bounce is good, then the ball travels amazingly. I noticed this after playing for a few days.
Offline earnings are crazy useful. I enabled it early and every time I open the game, coins have already accumulated. You don't need to grind constantly and still make progress.
Strength, speed, bounce power, and offline earnings all contribute to progression in different ways. A balanced upgrade path helps avoid putting too many resources into one stat while another important area falls behind.

First is timing. At the start, I just tapped randomly and the ball flew terribly. You need to watch that power meter carefully. When it enters the green zone, that's when you tap. After a few attempts, you'll get the feel for it.
Second, don't rush your upgrades. I have friends who only upgraded strength the whole time, then complained why their ball doesn't travel far. The problem was the ball was too slow. Balance is the real key.
Third is patience. Don't expect too much from the beginning. Just play at your own pace, coins will stack up, numbers will increase. Then one day you'll break your own record.
| Stage | Focus On | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Starting Out | Strength + Speed | Build the foundation so the ball actually flies |
| After 2-3 Days | Bounce + Offline | Help the ball travel further and earn money automatically |
| Long Term | Balanced Mix | Upgrade each area so nothing falls behind |
When you're new, 50-100 meters is normal. After a week, you're looking at 300-500 meters. There's no limit, you can keep upgrading to go even further.
I've been playing without spending anything. The game is completely free to play. Just put in the effort to upgrade.
Depends on how much you upgrade it. At first only a few hundred coins, but as you level it up, I'm making tens of thousands just from offline play.
After a few tries you'll get used to it. Watch the power meter run and tap when it hits the green zone. That's all there is to it.
Bat Smash 2 is a small game but incredibly fun. It doesn't need high skills, just patience and smart upgrades. If you like casual games with actual progression, this one's worth trying.
If you enjoy simple yet engaging games like this, you should also check out Bike Bros - a super fun bike game with similar mechanics. You'll need to figure out how to chain your bikes properly to get past obstacles. It has upgrades, offline earnings, and it'll hook you just as much.
