How The Traffic Flow Works
As usual, two sets of cars appear on the screen:
- Vehicles queuing in the roads heading to the roundabout.
- Cars already running in the circle and constantly producing a traffic flow.
You have to watch the moving automobiles and find a safe enough gap and then hit the Left Mouse Button or Spacebar to drive the following car into the roundabout.
The safe spacing is not constant. It constantly changes depending on the speed and position of the other cars. Therefore, a seemingly perfect gap at this moment can disappear in a flash.
How to Play Auto Puzzle Stream
Each level starts with one or more lanes where cars are waiting. In the center are roundabouts where other cars are constantly moving.
Your goal is to get all the cars in line into the traffic flow without causing a collision.
Step 1: Observe the Entire Roundabout
Don't rush to press the button as soon as the level starts.
Just look at the direction of movement of the vehicles for a few seconds. What car is coming to the entry point and what car has just passed.
This helps you to visualise the traffic flow cycle.
Step 2. Identify a Gap
If a gap opens up, don’t just look at the car closest to you but also the ones behind it.
A big space in front of you isn’t necessarily safe if another car is coming right behind it.
What you need to do is identify a space big enough for the whole road to enter the roundabout.
Step 3: Release the Car at the Correct Time
If you see an opportunity, click the Left Mouse Button or Spacebar.
The next automobile will come out of the queue and get on the traffic.
This is the most important period. Auto Puzzle Stream requires no difficult manoeuvres, but does require rapid and correct decisions.
Step 4: Follow Up After Every Car Release
Don't look away to the following car.
Watch the car that has just entered until you are sure it has entered the roundabout safely. Only then look for the next opportunity.
What Is the Role of the Green Cars?
A notable mechanism in Auto Puzzle Stream is the green cars.
If a green car is in the right exit lane it will leave the roundabout rather than remain in the traffic flow. This, in turn, accidentally frees up additional room for other cars.
So, you don’t just look at the green automobile as a car that’s already on the road. They can also become part of a puzzle-solving plan.
Instead of trying to get all the cars into a roundabout at once, you can wait for a green car to leave the traffic and then take advantage of the space created.
